Now Unto HIM!

²⁰ Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant^b,  ²¹ Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working^c in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 All the way my savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who thro’ life has been my guide?
heav’nly peace divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;

Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for ev’ry trial,
Feeds me with the living bread;
Tho’ my weary steps may falter,
and my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,

Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above:
When my spirit, clothed immortal,

Jesus led me all the way;

The thought that God would save me blows my mind. The fact that He chooses to live inside me humbles me. Today he chooses to remind me that we are partners together in this journey. He is building into my life integrity, a clear mind, clean heart , proper affections, a will that desires to follow His plan for my life and strength to do the work. He is working in me what pleases and brings honor to HIM. He is not finished. He will never leave me nor forsake me.

He longs for me to be in a place where he can bring about holiness (where he is dealing with my character) and righteousness (where he longs to change my conduct). He longs for me to be in a living relationship with himself.

Now unto HIM, I say AMEN!
