Being reminded again that I have a great responsibility to know the sheep in the flock that God has given me.
“Know your sheep by name – carefully attend to your flocks…God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm personal counsel in Scripture to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever He will do next.” Prov. 27:23, Romans 15
Keeping the main thing, the main thing is a real struggle. Focusing on reminding myself why I am an undershepherd is refreshing to me. I get caught up in doing so many things in a days time that I loose perspective. Two things grasp my attention this morning: 1. My Calling by God (for which I am amazed and thankful) and 2. the need to stay in the Scriptures for counsel by God (I cannot do this alone…I am weak and need God to walk me through the highs and lows of this ministry I have at home and at church).
Prayer – To God be the glory Great things he has done. To God be the Glory for his unbelievable way of communication daily counsel to me. I am depending on your guidance today…
